How does a photovoltaic system work?
1. Each panel used in a Juapi Project Services installation is composed of photovoltaic (PV) cells. When sunlight reaches your solar panels, the photovoltaic cells produce direct current (or DC current) or electricity.
2. An inverter or micro-inverter converts the DC electricity from the panels into alternating current (AC), the type of usable electricity that is needed to power your property.
3. Usable electricity flowing from the panels, flows to your property to be consumed by your lights, air conditioners, computers and any other electrical equipments that you have. If your solar panels do not produce enough energy for your needs, the additional power will be drawn from the power grid.
4. The solar electricity that is not consumed at the moment is sent to the grid and is accredited via the utility meter.
